Dear Choir Parents,
Just The Guys is just about three weeks away! Below you will find some information that will help you and your family plan for our first concert of the year! This concert will be, as the name suggests, just for our guys! If you have a daughter in choir, they’re welcome and encouraged to come and watch, but only the guys are required to be there. We’ll be joining forces with the high schools guys to put this concert on, so it should be a great time!
WHEN, WHERE, WHAT:
-Just the Guys will take place in the High School Auditorium at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 29th!
The plan is for our middle schoolers to stay after school on Thursday and remain at school until the concert starts. We will walk over to the high school as a group during RaFT and rehearse with the high schoolers from 4-5:30pm. After we rehearse, the middle and high schoolers will eat some pizza and get to know each other until the concert starts at 6:30pm. The concert should be just around 45 minutes long.
What our kids should be wearing for their show: Our guys will be wearing tennis shoes, blue jeans and a t-shirt. We had a custom t-shirt designed for this concert, and we will provide those shirts to our students on the day of the concert! Please have your student come to school in blue jeans and tennis shoes on Thursday, or give them a pair of each to change into after school.
We’re super excited to have our guys show off their stuff at our first concert of the year, and we can’t wait to see you all in the audience. Details on SwingFry will come out soon, so stay tuned for that!
