We need to have parents oversee our student dinner in the cafeteria between shows. All that is necessary is walking around giving the “evil eye” to students who get out of their seat without permission. Students raise their hand when they are ready to leave and you check their table/floor area for messes. If there’s a mess, THEY CLEAN THEM UP. After all of the kids are gone parents stick around and wipe down tables and sweep the floor. We need quite a few more people….and since you’ll be at the show anyway….wouldn’t you please lend a hand? Just go to signup genius and signup under dinner crew. Pr-e-t-t-y Pleeze? * Dinner Crew meets in the NHS Cafeteria between 5:15 – 5:30 to set up for dinner. You can also come after show 1 if that is the show have tickets for. It should be over by 5:45 p.m. 
Don’t forget that Peter Pan the NMS Musical will be taking place this weekend! Shows will be 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday night. You can get your tickets in advance by using this link —>PeterPan Advanced Tickets or at the door if there are any left. 🙂
We sent home a parent letter Friday and are not hearing back from very many parents, so here are a few reminders:
We need volunteers – big time! Please sign up under the sign up genius tab. Please. Please. Please! (begging status at this point)
T-Shirt Money should be turned in by Friday if at all possible. ($9) Donations towards other kids shirts will be gratefully accepted.
Food Donation Money is desperately needed to pay for dinner for the 400+ little stars that we have. Please send in your donation asap so that we can sleep at night.
Phone reminders to all volunteers will be made this weekend. Thanks in advance for your help.

Parents if you could help your child select the best t shirt size that would be very helpful! Here are the sizing guides to help you! Thank you! Just let your child know by Tuesday so that they can order the shirt that will first them best!
Well we are just days away from ISSMA 2019. The kids have been working like Trojans at their pieces and things are falling together nicely. Wednesday we will be singing for guest judges for a “practice run” of Saturday’s performance. The kids have been asked to dress up for this performance. They do not need to wear their “Black -n-Whites” unless they want to. *No jeans, sweatshirts, t shirts, etc. please.
I’ve attached a copy of the parent letter we sent home a few weeks ago in case you could use a copy. –>Choir ISSMA Letter 2019 Please remember that if you would like to take your child home from GMS you will need to give them a chaperone note stating that you are stealing your child 🙂
ISSMA results will be posted by 6 p.m. on Saturday! We will blog and facebook them out to ya’ll.
If you are coming to watch your child perform at GMS Saturday, please come a bit early. The performances take place in the cafeteria and space is limited for seating. They also close the doors during all performances and will lock you out if you are bit late. 😦
Following the performance we will meet everyone back in the GMS Gym for check out and then release the students to either the buses or to their parents.
Thank you for the really cool locker decorations: Mrs. Hickman, Mrs. Zook, Mrs. Schrock, Mrs. Stone, Mrs. Hunt, and Mrs. Dorbin. The kids went “nuts”!
If you are sending in water or treats for Monday’s celebration, please drop them off Monday morning so that we can prepare them for the classes.
