Final Blast Emergency

We have 1 chaperone to cover 72 kids in 7thย gradeย for the first show and zero to cover these kids for the 2ndย show.ย  We also need 1 chaperone per show for 8thย and 7th.ย  This is a must.ย  I can’t leave them for one person to watch over all of them.ย  Please help.

Reminders:

T-shirt money was due today. Quite a few parents have not sent theirs in. Please take care of that if you can. Tickets are selling fast on their first day. Additional tickets may be old at the box office Sat/ but I can’t promise that their will be any. Please get those tickets in advance.

As of today we have very few volunteers. I hate to be a pest with this, but we can’t run the show without chaperones. We need them for dress rehearsal Saturday, and show 1 and show 2. You’re going to be there anyway. Might as well lend a hand. You get to watch half the show from the stage point of view and the last half out in the audience. Pleeeze is all I can say at this point.

There is no one volunteered as 7th grade phone mom. Would anyone care to make the calls? I will send the info and numbers home with your child Tuesday. Just send me an email: armingtonj@mcsin-k12.org! Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to sign up. WE really appreciate it!!

It’s that time again…

Some of you don’t have your listening ears on! ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s time to sign up for your volunteer slots) You’re almost there but you can’t give up on us yet! We have very few parents signed up. I’m hoping that this “gentle” reminder will help you go to nmschoir.org and the sign up genius tab to sign up! Hold on to your hat, here is what we are missing per grade:

6th grade: 3 more Dress Rehearsal Chaperones for next Thursday, 4 Ushers for show 1 and 4 Ushers for show 2, Concert 1 Chaperone 1, Concert 2 Chaperone 2, Dinner Crew 3.

7th Grade: Dress Rehearsal Chaperones for next Thursday -2, Dress Rehearsal Phone Mom, 1, Concert Phone mom – 1, Water for dinner 4, Usher show 1 – 4, Usher show 2-4, Concert 1 Chaperone 2, Concert 2 Chaperone 3!!!!! Dinner Crew 5!!!

8th Grade is winning! They need Usher show 1 -4, Usher Show 2 -2, Concert 2 Chaperones -3!!!!!, Dinner Crew 5.

BTW chaperoning the Final Blast is the easiest because you only watch over the kids the first half of the show and then you get to pop in the auditorium for free and watch the big Finale Medley.

2ndly, your t shirt money ($10) is coming in but we’d really like most of it collected by Friday so that it doesn’t run in to ticket money on Monday. Food donations are a bit low for this time of the year. Please donate what you can to feed our hungry lambs.

Tickets go on sale on Monday (May 6th)! They are $3 each. We have the wrong date on them, sorry that’s my fault. The Concert is next Saturday (March 11th) at 4:30 and 7 p.m.

O.k. that’s all for now! Now please get on signup genius and lend a hand…or both hands…or your husband/wive’s hand…grandma’s…never mind you get the picture!

A few things:

  1. Chaperones for Final Blast and it’s dress rehearsal are crucial to the success of our program. We can’t have students on their own. Please please, please consider filling a chap position. Also you will need to go to this site to fill out a short background check form: https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/NTc1OTplbi1VUw==
  2. We currently need volunteers in just aabout every area of every grade. Our phone moms need to make reminder calls with specific information by next Wed. However, right now there is no one to call. I know many of you have volunteered this year but this last concert needs you to lend a hand. Please sign up today so that we can hand out the information to our phone moms.
  3. We are sill looking for costumes from a different country for the song “It’s a Small World.” (14)
  4. We are collecting money ($10) for t shirts now. Please send in the payment as soon as you can.
  5. We are also collecting dinner donation money now!
  6. Finally we want you to know that this show will have a DISNEY theme throughout. It will be so fun for children. I’m sure we will be hearing singing from the audience. Invite as many little ones as you can! (You may be singing too!!!)
