These BEASTS have been amazing leaders in class. Each day they are coming prepared to sing their hearts out! They lead their section as they wander through the treacherous territory in the sight reading jungle, and aren’t afraid to swing out to help their class mates! Great job CB’s! Keep up the great work.

One of our 8th Grade Choir students, Kyle Deal, represented Northridge Middle School and the NMS Choirs as part of the All-State Middle School Honor’s Choir at the IMEA Conference in Fort Wayne the weekend before last. Kyle was selected as a member of the group after submitting a rigorous audition to the organization back in October. He and around 150 other students from middle schools across the state prepared 7 pieces of music outside of the regular school day (as well as over their Christmas break) and then came together to rehearse as a full choir the day before their performance in front of nearly 2000 music teachers and parents! He and all of the students did a fantastic job and we are very proud of his accomplishment! Way to be a beast Kyle!!

As of today, we have collected enough money to pay for a meal for every child on Saturday! We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of our choir families. Thank you for assisting us in this endeavor. Throwing dinner for 400 children is not an easy task, and your gracious giving has made it possible. Thank you!!!
