If you volunteered on the nmschoir.org signup genius would you take a moment and double check that your sign up is still there. Right now we see the only 9 out of 69 eighth grade parents signed up for a volunteer position so far this year, only 20 out of 95 7th grade parents, and only 24 out of 117 6th grade parents are marked in for a spot too. That is very unusual. By now all SwingFry slots and Christmas slots are usually filled. If you don’t see your name please go back and add it again because something must have happened to our list. I apologize for the inconvenience!

Secondly, please remember that all volunteers who come in contact with our children need to complete a background check (found on this page under the parent forms tab). Our administration is checking to see if we have this done. If you haven’t filled one out would you please take care of that asap? 🙂 We’d sure appreciate it! This is for all chaperones, dress rehearsal chaperones, photographers, dinner crew, and tear down crew. It isn’t necessary for locker decorations, treats, or water donations.

I’m sitting in the Middlebury Music Parent’s meeting tonight. They’ve been discussing all of the Swing Fry plans. First they said that we are at 60 percent for volunteer jobs. The kitchen is in need of your help. We are also “scary” short in the bake sale donations. Those signups are on the Northridgechoirs.com site. Please visit that site and lend a hand. In the meeting we realized that we have 0 Swingfry Concert Chaperones on our website. Yikes! It’s the easiest job of the year. You help kids put on ties and take attendance. After they sing you collect ties at the stage door. Please go to signup genius on the nmschoir.org site and help fill those slots. Pleeeeeze!

You can purchase a show only ticket at the door too. You will receive a wrist band that will get you into every show. Kids 5 and under get in for free!
