I’m sitting in the Middlebury Music Parent’s meeting tonight. They’ve been discussing all of the Swing Fry plans. First they said that we are at 60 percent for volunteer jobs. The kitchen is in need of your help. We are also “scary” short in the bake sale donations. Those signups are on the Northridgechoirs.com site. Please visit that site and lend a hand. In the meeting we realized that we have 0 Swingfry Concert Chaperones on our website. Yikes! It’s the easiest job of the year. You help kids put on ties and take attendance. After they sing you collect ties at the stage door. Please go to signup genius on the nmschoir.org site and help fill those slots. Pleeeeeze!

Now for the good news. Tonight they decided to have a $10 show only ticket. It should be posted soon on the tickets online tab. Northridgechoirs.com

You can purchase a show only ticket at the door too. You will receive a wrist band that will get you into every show. Kids 5 and under get in for free!

We need to remind everyone that this is a fundraiser.

So many things have gone home with conflicting dates on them I am standing on my podium and yelling to the world “The dates for Swing Fry are THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14 DRESS REHEARSAL AND SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16! PLEASE USE THE YELLOW SHEET THAT WE SENT HOME LAST WEEK FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. AMEN!!!

Hi! It’s Mrs. A, I just wanted to remind you to go to the NMS signup genius tab and volunteer for at least 2 things this year. I heard from a lot of parents last night that they had just not gotten around to signing up. So here’s your reminder! 🙂

We just got word that a lot of our time slots have not been filled. I know you. You’re giving people!! So make sure you sign up to help TODAY. (PLEASE). 🙂

News from our Middlebury Music Boosters Association regarding Swingfry. Must know!

October is here and this is our most critical time for fundraising. Please, make sure you are checking the northridgehighschoolchoir.com website for sign-ups and volunteering. Swingfry is our biggest fundraiser of the year!!! It is no small task to pull this off and we can not do it without everyone helping. Below are highlighted the most critical items right now.

1. SIGN-UP: Each family is required to sign-up for at least two shifts at Swingfry. Please go to the website and sign-up. Below is also a tentative performance schedule, so you can work around your student’s performance time. However, the schedule is still not set, know that we will work with you to make sure you can watch your student perform.

2. DONATIONS: We need parents who can help solicit food and auction donations from local businesses. Below is a list of items and instructions on how to get us those donations. Please follow these instructions so we don’t inundate local businesses with requests.

3. IF YOU ALREADY SIGNED-UP: Please double check your sign-up. We made last minute changes to the sheets and some sign-ups were lost. In particular, if you signed up to bake cakes please go check that your name is still there.

SwingFry, committee is set and already meeting. It is only a month away so sign-up now!! Below is the tentative performance schedule, this may adjust, but this will help you with when to volunteer. Sign-up is on the website.

3:30 pm Chamber Lights

3:50 pm 7th Grade

4:10 pm Varsity Lights

4:30 pm 8th Grade

4:50 pm Just the Guys Middle School

5:10 pm Starlights Concert

5:30 pm Northern Lights Concert

6:00 pm Jazz Band

6:20 pm Knight Lights

6:40 pm Northern Lights/Starlights.
